I have been trying to download a track from Musicmatch, I
recieve an error that states the comunication between
them and my computer has been lost. It states that I must
disable any firewalls, turbo, virus protector, pop-up and
Java, just about everything. When I do all that, I can't
get on line. I have even gone to the startup menu and
tried to figure out what program is causing this problem
by unchecking everything, and doing the hit and miss
thing (this was Musicmatch support suggestion). That
just caused me confusion. I have a feeling that I have
messed up everything, and now I have things starting that
I don't need. I don't know what to do. This is really
puzzling, because I have downloaded from Musicmatch in
the past. Have any idea or suggestions?

Not a solution to your problem, but I would strongly suggest that you NOT
disable your firewall!!! Worms like Sasser and Blaster can infect an
unprotected computer within a few minutes of going online.

Thanks for your help. I tried the Ad-ware, although it
cleaned out my computer of things I didn't know I had, it
didn't fix my problem. Still can't download. And I
haven't disabled my firewall, you're right about the
worms.
