Hello all,
can anyone tell me what I need to do to get my music back?
The on board musicsystem is fine, but when I go to a
website,or try to play my own music,it just wont work.

How do you know your onboard music system is fine if your own music
wont work? Be more specific. Have you updated the drivers for your
soundcard, are your system sounds working properly? Does your CD-Rom
need updated drivers? etc....

Hi Byte,
my sound system is working properly,I tested it,and my
music cd's work, internet radio works,I thought all drivers
are updated, not sure about the soundcard driver will check
on it,but if I go to any midi site, winamp goes through
all the motions of music being played, but I don't hear it.

Thanks for your input.

Oh and BTW.when I use Windows Media Player,to play
my own midi files,I get the : 0xC00D1197:Cannot play the
file....popup,not sure what it means.

Yep I did read & heed....One question I never thought
to ask is,do Midi's fall under the copyright protection?
If so,then that would be the reason I can't
hear them....Other wise I give up...Thanks for your
help though....

Exactly, and it's when I go to those midi sites
and want to hear the music,I have a problem
hearing it,and after I save it to my own files,I can't
hear it either.
