music stops when printing

I think my media player 9 is shorting out whenever I print.
I just recently upgraded to XP professional and Media
Player 9. Now if i have music playing in the background and
I go to print something, sometimes the sound will cut out,
but the music keeps playing. When I reboot it's back, but
it happens all the time. It seems to happen only when I'm
playing CD directly as opposed to a media file in the
library. I've checked the speakers and they are fine. What
should I do?

Thanks,

Keri

Keri, the RAM on your computer needs to be upgraded if you want to run multiple applications (such as printing and listening music at the same time). I'd bet that you have 128MB or 256MB of RAM...you should upgrade to 512MB or more. Fry's Electonic's has great deals on RAM, expect to pay $80-$140 or check E-Bay. It's definitely worth it and you can do it yourself very easily.
