If you're listening to songs while surfing the internet
using a dial up connection, you're going to get pauses or
skips, its a fact of life unless you have a hardware modem
(as opposed to a winmodem). A hardware modem has onboard
processing instead of dumping the processing to your cpu
as a winmodem does. Add to the equation the fact that
Media Player is a resource hog and you get skips.

When playing iTunes songs start but randomly stops for a
second or two then continues playing. Much like it's
being stopped so another process can run. Checked so
applications take priority. Psoible cach/buffer/streaming
issue? Thanks for any suggestions. (XP, P4-2.0GHz, 785MB,
120GB)
