I've had this problem for a while, but basically whenever I listen to music
on my laptop through Windows Media Player, it skips and sounds scratchy. It
doesn't always sound like this, and will often correct itself after a minute,
but it is still very annoying.
I have recently downloaded windows media player 10 and that doesn't solve
the problem. I also used the sound and audio trouble shooter to check the
drivers and they all seem fine (although I'm not totally sure). It also
skips a bit when I play a CD. The problem may have started when I played a
DVD which started up its own player as opposed to using the one I have on the
computer already (Arcade).
My laptop is an Acer Aspire 1690 which I bought at the beginning of this year.
If anyone can help, I would really, really appreciate it!!
Thanks - Hannah
