I have had my laptop computer for almost 3 years now, and I have to admit
that it's been a huge waste of money. However, my latest issue has me at a
complete loss. I recently upgraded to Windows Media Player 11, and
everything seemed to be OK until this morning. I went to play some music,
and now the WMA & MP3 files play, but the main vocals on every song are
barely audible. The instrumentals and backup/secondary vocals are clear, but
the main vocals can barely be heard. I don't know if this sudden change has
been caused by a software malfunction, or if it's something I did or didn't
do. I haven't changed any of the audio properties on this computer in
several months, nor do I know exactly where to go or what to do to restore
the volume leveling back to the way it was just 24 hours ago. If anyone has
a clue or a solution to offer, please let me know.
