I linked my presentation (insert - sound) to 4 .wma files. I want it to
transition every 3 seconds and play these songs automatically. The problem
is that the songs all play at the same time. I have looked through all of
the help webpages that you have listed and have gone through this a zillion
times. I can't figure out what the problem is. Can you help?

Hi TR

What is it you want to happen? Have them play one after the other? Or play
only during particular slides? If you want them to play one after the other I
would use a sound editing programme (such as the free audacity:
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/) to merge them into one file. I would
probably also make it a wav so it could be embedded in the ppt (helps with
distribution).

Have a read of this as it explains lots of stuff about music & powerpoint:
Play sounds across multiple slides (a WAV runs through it)

Yes, I want them to play one after the other. I have done this with PP 2003
and it worked fine. I inserted an AudioCD that it linked to and I just put
the CD in when I did the presentation. This doesn't work with 2007. What am
I doing wrong?

Can you walk me through *exactly* the steps you have taken? I don't use the
'play from cd' option but I do have 2003 & 2007 installed so I can do some
testing & hopefully come up with an answer for you. Unless someone else wants
to step in....
