Music in PPT '97 - HELP

Cannot figure out how to have a downloaded clip play while
the remaining objects are animated in a slide show!!!

What special 'thing' do I have to do to get the Play
settings options be available?????

Any help would be good.
 
Sorry, upgrade is the only answer that comes to mind.

There are work arounds for making a gif seem to move in PowerPoint 97, but
it simply does not do multiple animations. Multiple animations were not
available until PowerPoint 2002.
