Music in powerpoint

I am making a powerpoint presentation. I have been adding music to certain
slides using Insert, Movies and Sounds, Sounds from File. They are all MP3.
The first two I added (half way through presentation) have worked fine. I
then went back to add one 2 beginning, and that does not play. I have also
tried adding after the one's that work and they do not play. I get the sound
symbol on my slide but nothing plays.
Any ideas?
 
Hi Laura

Are the mp3 files buried deep in your folder structure. If the path to the
file is too long they wont play. Try moving them into the folder with the
presentation and re insert them.

Probably the path is too long. Try creating a folder in C:\. Then, move all
your sounds and presentation into the folder. Re-link them all and see if it
works this time round. You might also want to give Plays For Certain a try:
