Music in Power Point 2007

I have a presentation with many slides and want to add music. I picked out a
song, but it won't play!! I can play other songs of the same format (mp3),
but this one song will not play!!!! The power point and the music are in the
same folder. Please help!!!!!

(this is for a memorial service tomorrow am)

The MP3 is not coming from the same sources and the Codecs may be different
from one MP3 to another
 
How do I fix that???

(Digital Rights Management) applied. That will allow you to play it back on
your player but not to use it in a form that would allow you to distribute it to
anyone else. In a PPT file, for example.

You should to set up the effect of the sound:
1.right click on the icon in your presentation and select "Custom
Animation."
2. There will be a section for "Effect" with the option to stop
playing after X slides.
3. Set the number of slides for the sound to play here. Now when you
select OK and exit the custom animation box, your sound will continue
to play.
