How can I get a music file (wav) to loop or start over again for the rest of a
presentation. The file is not long enough to play for the entire presentation.
I am using PP 2002.

Thanks to all.

This should help.

Play sounds across multiple slides (A WAV runs through it)

I did this I can get it to work across slides but the song stops at the end of
the song & I need the song to loop or start over after it reaches the end (The
end of song not the end of the slideshow). The slideshow is about one minute
longer than the (.wav file) I have to use. I seem to remember that in PP 2000
there was an option to "LOOP" the music. Can't find same option in PP2002.

Thanks for the help.

Try right-clicking the sound and choosing Edit Sound Object. Select the loop
option there.

Hopefully that will do it.

[CRITICAL UPDATE - Anyone using Office 2003 should install the critical
update as soon as possible. From PowerPoint, choose "Help -> Check for
Updates".]
[TOP ISSUE - Are you having difficulty opening presentations in PPT 2003
that you just created in PPT 2003? -

Hello,

It sounds that, although this functionality is included in PowerPoint, that
you were not able to find it. It would be great to know what steps you went
through to find this capability in PowerPoint so that we can know where to
improve our help content, user interface, etc. so that it will be easier to
discover this capability in some future version of PowerPoint

If you (or anyone else reading this message) have any suggestions on how to
make it easier to locate this functionality, don't forget to send your
feedback (in YOUR OWN WORDS, please) to Microsoft at:

http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp

It's VERY important that, for EACH wish, you describe in detail, WHY it is
important TO YOU that your product suggestion be implemented. A good wish
submssion includes WHAT scenario, work-flow, or end-result is blocked by
not having a specific feature, HOW MUCH time and effort ($$$) is spent
working around a specific limitation of the current product, etc. Remember
that Microsoft receives THOUSANDS of product suggestions every day and we
read each one but, in any given product development cycle, there are ONLY
sufficient resources to address the ones that are MOST IMPORTANT to our
customers so take the extra time to state your case as CLEARLY and
COMPLETELY as possible so that we can FEEL YOUR PAIN.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions).
