In scooterdude had this to say:
My reply is at the bottom of your sent message:
I don't THINK so? I can't say as I've ever seen it done and Office 11 (Word)
didn't seem to have that option even in adding a file.
I tried to embed (just because I figured why not?) Eric Clapton Cocaine.mp3,
it autoselected Japanese language as the method to import it, and then
promptly (well it took a few seconds) popped an error on page 32766 saying
that was all the pages Word supported. Though I did find out that it had
kept the embedded information (in text) letting me know what I'd ripped the
file from CD with. Interesting that...
I'd say try the Word group for a second opinion.

I can embed the music file into the the word documentby using copy then paste special. then clicking on the title it will play. (follow on screen directions) What I can't do is get it to play automatically when I open the document. Guess I'll have to settle for half a lof , so to speak
