Hi,

I am trying to enbed music to a power point slide show to be viewed by my
correspondents on their own PC (using power point of course). I am following
the procedure entitled "Adding Music, Songs, or Sound Effects to a slide
show". When I think I am done, I find out that the added music can be only
heard at the PC where the slide show was originated, and not elsewhere on
another PC. I am obviously doing some thing wrong.
Could somebody tell me how to do t right ?!? In advance, I thank my
correspondents for their diligence.

First of all, only WAV files get embedded.

And you need to choose the largest file size that can be embedded -- this
can be chnaged in Tools | Options | General.

Even then, it's a good idea to right click the sound object on the slide,
and select Sound Options. Does the dialog box provide a link, or does it say
'Embedded in presentation'?
