Music downloading

Hi
i am wondering where a good place is to download music legally. I will not
mind paying like $10 a month but all the places i can find like napster, and
rapsody, you can only listen to them, you have to pay extra to keep them on
your computer.

and also is it legal, or is it like kazaa or grokster?
