music, computer keeps modifying my mp3's????

hi there, my computer keeps modifying my mp3's and i dont know why its saying
the last song i downloaded was all american rejects and it was and there are
others under there that have modified themselves and i want to stop it from
updating themselves, can u stop it?

do u know when u download a song and it has the date it was modified in the
folder??? you have name, size etc u can select to have date modified so i can
arrange them most recent downloaded first and basically it updates itself and
has some of my old songs as most recent first, wether it is updating the
music file info i dont know but it says that my most recent song isnt
actually the most recent song i downloaded and wanted it to stop updating my
files for me

You have name, size and type etc u can select to have date modified.
So they can then be arranged to most recent downloaded first.
And what it is doing is basically it updates itself my old songs as most
recent first, where it has updated something on it.
but that isnt the recent song i downloaded. what i want to happen is for it
to stop making my non recent files updating and being my newer files when
they arent.
