music cd with autorun feature

Ok will Microsoft Antispyware prevent some enhance music
cd that have some special feature from loading
automatically because some music cd that has enhance
feature they install unwanted stuff, i have one cd that
that installed something on my C: harddrive, i think that
was 2 year's ago. So now every time i put music cd on my
xp pro/sp2 machine i try to be cutious and just disable
AutoRun for the Cd-rom.

It would be nice if we can disable Autorun via Microsoft
Antispywae application maybe they can add it on setting
or checkpoint without going to run and typing GPEDIT.MSC
(only XP Pro have that software)
 
This is an interesting request. Such an installation should be removable
via add or remove programs, but most users don't know what many of those
things listed there are.

If the item being installed isn't listed as "known"--you'd have a chance to
block installation with Microsoft Antispyware, but if they've taken the
trouble to get it listed as "known" it'll get green-flagged, and you'll be
notified, but not have an opportunity to block. OTOH, the notification will
give you a chance to go immediately to add or remove programs and blow it
away again.
