music and pics on the same cd

Is it possible to put music and photos on the same cd so when you are
watching a slide show you can hear music also? Im not sure if maybe you have
to purchase a program or maybe you have to have a dvd burner. I guess I am
hoping someone could give me some advice that doesn't require buying anything
else. I don't need anything special or fancy right now. Thank
you in advance
