Hi-
Is there anyway to use a form/query/report from one database to another
database?
I have a program here at work that produces a database file once it has
finished what it's doing. I have to take that file and filter through some
information and then produce a form (based off of a query) to fill in
information for each record..and then make a report with the new
information..Fun, huh?
Any help would be appreciated. I have basic skills/knowledge in Access.
Thanks!

You can import the data into Access as a table provided that the database
file is in a format that Access can recognize. Several formats are listed in
the import screen. Once the data is imported you can create a form based on
the imported table to use for data entry. With the data entered into the
table, you can create a query to define your criteria and will be the basis
of the report you want to create.
