Can anyone tell me where I check to see that both
processors are being recognized correctly in Win 2000?
Thanks Ted Fischer - (e-mail address removed)

open the task manager and check
performance, you should see TWO CPU windows, or go to
MyComputer>Manage>Device Manager>Computer. If windows
recognized the dual CPU it would say "ACPI mutliprocessor
PC" here.

Hope this helps,

rob

Thanks Rob - I do notice two processors under the task
manager but it doesn't seem to be threading correctly (
very sluggish when running two CAM progs) at least in
comparison when running under NT4.0. Do you happen to know
what .dll I would see under device manager under the
Silicon Graphics Visual Workstation? I only see a standard
hal.dll. Thanks Ted
