I have just loaded MS antispyware (again, the first time
it slowed my system to a crawl) to give it a try. It
still bogs down the amount of time it takes to load a
program but not as bad as it did in March. I was
wondering if anyone else has had the problem of multiple
(I've had at least 12) bullseyes appearing in your
control panel. I know I can choose to not have an icon
in my control panel but as far as I've been able to find
that is the only way to temporarily turn the program off
without rebooting. If anyone has experienced this would
you tell me how you got it to stop (short of disabling
the feature in Options).

I don't know what a VNC application is so I'm guessing I
don't use one. I would have no idea how to remote control
my computer. No this is a stand alone desktop.

Hmm. I'd recommend uninstalling Microsoft Antispyware, deleting the
installation folder (typically c:\program files\microsoft antispyware), and
then reinstalling.
