At home, I have set up a static ip for my wireless network.
At School, i have to set windows IPv4 settings to obtain IP and DNS
automatically.
is there a way to set it up so that windows detects what network i'm on(by
the ssid or something) and automatically between settings? It's very
irritating to have to enter the info every day because i have to switch
around if i take my laptop to class. what is that "alternate configurations"
tab?
My boyfriend has a lenovo thinkpad with Windows XP, and it came with it's
own little software to do this. I have a Dell Vostro with Windows Vista Home
Premium.
