Doug

I had this happen once before, when I try to right click
and say open in another window or click on a link that
opens in another window, it won't. (Such as this
newsgroup posting - luckily I have another resouce that
will allow me to open another window - friends computer)
Can someone please help me. If I remember right it had
something to do with editing the registry and the
documentation I saw also mentioned backing up your
registry first. But whatever I did last time worked fine.
When I fix it this time I will print out the fix and save
it. Thanks

Go to Tools | Internet Options | Advanced.
Uncheck "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts".

Doug,

The following fix solves the problem. Based on MSKB article:
