multiple windows: "Can't Find Page" error

When I have several browser windows open I frequently view
one while the other is loading (dial-up). It seems the
browser on top is the only one working. The one(s) in the
background sometimes end up with the "Cannot load page"
message. Any ideas how to fix this? (IE 6 xpsp2)
