I've searched for this but have found nothing. Every so often my PC
will divert to showing me more than one tabbed area in my taskbar. I
use the Language Toolbar and sometimes there will suddenly be more
than one, but the real problem is when I see my ONE Firefox window
open in TWO different areas in my taskbar. Can't seem to fix this b/c
I have no idea why it is doing it. I've unlcoked the toolbar to see
what is checked, but even if I uncheck any existing tool bars I still
have three of the dotted, sliding tab things.

Any advice?? I can send screen shots if muy description is fuzzy.

Right click the Taskbar | Properties | Taskbar tab |
Under Taskbar appearance | UNCheck: Group similar taskbar buttons

Group similar taskbar buttons
[[Displays taskbar buttons for files opened by the same program in the same
area of the taskbar. In addition, if the taskbar becomes so crowded with
buttons that the width of the buttons shrinks beyond a certain width, then
the buttons for the same program are collapsed into a single button.
Clicking the button lets you access the document you want. Right-clicking
the button lets you close all the documents you want.]]

Hi Wesley,

I think 'Nathaniel' is talking about the Duplicate taskbar effect.

Try this solution by Chris H.
==================
I've seen reports of this happening when people install the Google search
toolbar, but you might want to check the solution from MVP Kelly Theriot
here:

Click the T alphabet from the top alphabet list:

Look under Taskbar -
Programs Aren't Minimized in the Taskbar. She has a file which will fix
Registry problems for you.

Hi RajKohli,
I think 'Nathaniel' is talking about the Duplicate taskbar effect.

If he is, I have no idea what that is. ;-)
