I have a multiple screen setup on my 1.2ghz amd athlon. I
am attempting to set up a third screen as i require the
extra desktop space. Windows 2000 Pro says that it can
find the card and installs it but the screen will not work
or fire up. Also when looking at my setting for the
displays I can only see the 2 screens that i have set up.
The third does not exist. Do any of you have any ideas.

Your help would be appreciated.

I've got 3 displays on my system... had no problem with getting the displays
recognized and the desktop extended. It was almost too easy!

Perhaps it's a compatibility problem with your 3rd card?
Try swapping around... change the order... and pull one or the other...

All three of my video cards in this box are same manufacturer... 1 AGP, and
2 identical PCI.

Or... if you can swing the bucks, try putting in an AGP card with multiple
display support.
That would reduce the hardware load on the system... assuming there's some
conflict like that.

I may be wrong, but I believe Matrox is still the choice for this kind of
stuff if you want more than just Dual monitor on one card.

I also have a few boxes with ATI Radeon 8500 (agp) cards which support dual
monitors... quite effective and satisfactory for my purpose, which is same
as yours... LOTS of desktop space :)
