Multiple Versions ?

One of our users has done something to one of her
spreadsheets so now when she opens it and then clicks
on "Window" it says "Fiscal 2003.XLS:1" and then below
that it says "Fiscal 2003.XLS:2". It would appear the
last name indicates version 1 and the other version 2.

What is this ? How do you undo it, etc... ?

Apparently the user has two windows open of the same
sheet. Just close one of them by clicking the button
in the upper right corner of the sheet (Close window)
just below the white-cross-button.
It was created with Window > New window (or similar)

Not versions, different windows into the same workbook. Excel provides a many to
many relationship between multiple open and visible workbooks and multiple open
and visible windows. If you click on Window in Excel's menu bar, you'll see two
entries for the file. One way to create multiple windows into the same workbook
is running the Window > New Window menu command.

Just close one of them either by clicking the file close (X) box in the upper
right corner of the document window or press [Ctrl]+[F4]. The is one situation
in which either of these works differently than File > Close.

If you're supposed to be supporting Excel users, you need a refresher course.
This is a fairly common 'problem'.
