I do a lot of work in Powerpoint 2002 and most of my
clients have Powerpoint 97. So everytime I deliver a job
I have to install it on there computer and reprogram some
of the effects I did in 2002. Can I load Powerpoint 97 on
my system and run both without it causing problems. This
way I could make sure it runs right when I give it to
them.

Before you install PowerPoint 97, have you tried turning off the new
features in PowerPoint 2002 to make your presentations compatible? Go to
Tools > Options > Edit and disable the three items at the bottom of the
dialog.

To install PowerPoint 97, you'll need to uninstall PowerPoint 2002 first.
Then install PowerPoint 97 and then re-install PowerPoint 2002 to a
different folder. The oldest version must be in place first to ensure that
they will work correctly on the same machine.
