Is there any way to set up xp pro so that more than one
remote desktop user (or 1 person sitting at the computer
and some number using remote desktop) can each log into a
seperate account without kicking out the other person?

No, Not with XP. But you can use VNC to complish this

Not even with VNC - it doesn't allow 2 seperate sessions....
