Multiple users

Under XP, if I have multiple users logged on at the same time, a scheduled
scan takes place for all of them. Presumably, they are scanning the same
files, or a subset of those from an administrator account. I also assume
that they would try to update the software too. If I try to update from a
standard user account, it at least says it's updating the definitions, but
unless it's putting them in a different place for each user, it's not doing
what it says.

If I try to change the preferences for the other users so that it does not
try to update or run scheduled scans, it says that it accepts the changes,
but if I leave and get back in, they are lost.

What can I do to prevent the other users from running a scheduled scan,
short of logging them off?

This beta is designed for one person to be logged on a computer at a time,
and all users who log on must be local admins. You will probably need to try
the enterprise version when it releases as it would address this scenario
better.

I hope Steve's reply is wide of the mark. You are talking about Fast User
Switching in a home or small office environment, correct?

Presently, I don't know how to fix this--but I can't imagine that beta2 will
function the same way.
