Multiple Users: How To Safely Reconfigure To Single User

Hi.

The XP system I purchased was pre-configured for access by myself and other
users.
Only I access my computer, and I'd like to change the settings, in order to
reduce the number of sub-folders.

I'm browsing the Help files to try to determine how to do this, but I'm
afraid of doing something that I don't fully understand, and possibly losing
or corrupting files, or somehow corrupting the Registry.

Can someone advise me, from experience, on any risks not quite obvious, that
I should keep in mind as I work through the Help files to make these
changes?

a.. click 'Start' > 'Settings' > 'Control Panel' > 'User Accounts'
b.. click 'Change an account'
c.. here you will be able to delete all accounts except one account that
has 'Administrative rights'
