I just installed a second terminal server on my network.
All my users come from outside the network using port
3389. I want to split up the users (half on one server
and half on the other). Is there a setting on the server
for this? Do I have to modify the registry? Can it be
done? Any help will be greatly appreaciated.

Thanks in advance

You have a couple options:
1. Simply use DNS round-robin.
2. Use Windows 2000 Advanced Server for your TSs or Windows 2003.
3. Use my products WTSGateway or WTSGateway Pro. They will not only split
the connections among multiple Terminal Servers but will also:
- Act as a Gateway so all incoming TS connections go to the WTSGateway
machine and it establishes the connection to the TSs so only one external IP
is needed no matter how many TSs you have.
- Determine the best TS to handle the connection at that moment (Pro
only).
- Send users that had disconnected sessions back to the right server
(Pro only).

Hope this helps,
