Multiple subforms multiple records

I have a main form with multiple subforms. For those subforms which are
linked to the same table, when I enter data, Access puts that data into a new
record for each subform within the table. Thus, for a single individual
survey response, I end up with 4 separate records in the table, rather than
one.

How can I reconcile this? Thanks!

You'll be better off (and good DB design suggests this) if you use just one
subform for all of the fields that are linked to the same table. This will
enable you to enter all the info that will go into the table on one subform.
Create separate subforms for the other tables as well.
