Multiple SSID on one NIC

All the documentation I've been able to find on the
Knowledge Base indicates that I have to reconfigure the
hardware properties on my wireless NIC each time I connect
to a different LAN. This means I need to reconfigure my
SSID twice a day; when I go to work...and when I come home.

I've tried creating two hardware profiles, but when I
change the SSID in one profile, it changes it for both
profiles.

I have to believe there's a way to make this work. How
can I configure my wireless NIC to communicate with
whichever LAN I am near? How can I configure W2K with one
SSID and encryption for one LAN and a different SSID and
encryption for the other LAN without having to reconfigure
my laptop each time? Thanx.

I am not sure if this can help you but this is what I have done and works
for my work and home wireless LAN - each is totally different
infrastructure.

First, go to your wireless LAN setup and choose - Let Windows configure my
settings (I am using different language version so you may just guess it).

Then click the "Advanced" setting, and choose the first option "Any network"

If your SSID requires password as my work Wireless LAN does, you need to
input it in the network setup also.

For me, that works fine and it will automatically switch back and forth
between the two networks.
