Hi
I am trying to insert two different sounds on the same slide. They are both
'embeded' no 'inserted' into my presentation. Basically, one sound plays,
until it is time for the next to start playing, which is when the second
sound starts and the first just cuts off. I am usong PowerPoint 2007. Can
anyone help? (I don't care if the two sounds start together or if there is a
staggerred start)

What exactly do you mean by "embedded", not "inserted"?

I think you can do what you want if you link them both.

You might also try making one an MP3 and one a WAV. This would necessitate
linking at least the MP3.

insert both sounds, set to start automatically, in the animation pane,
set both sounds to "start with previous" and then set a time delay of
desired seconds for the second sound. It should cut off the first sound
and start after the specified time delay at least it just did for me now
when I tried it.
