Multiple Remote access simulatenously

I would like to take an XP machine (with lots of software install) and allow
multiple people to have access to it (like a terminal server) at the same
time. Is there any what to do this without starting with a 2003 terminal
server and re-installing all the software? Can I just start with the XP
machine? If so, any direction on how to start this process would help.

Thanks.

You can't do this natively in XP. You'd need to run a server OS with
Terminal Services or look for third-party remote access software. And
no, I'm sorry but I don't know of any off-hand.

Perhaps if you described better what you are actually trying to
accomplish - with details about the network and the software you want to
share - someone will have a good idea for you.

I don't believe this is possible.

Remote Desktop only supports one user, and any third-party software that
attempted to support multiple users would be in violation of the Windows XP
licensing terms (even if it worked reliably which is unlikely). So you need
Windows Server 2003.

Unfortunately, the W2003 installer does not support upgrading from Windows XP.
So you'll need to start again.

You would need Windows 2003 Server and NOT Windows 2003 Small Business
Server. Also keep in mind that multiple users accessing via TS at the same
time would mean you want a powerful computuer with a lot of RAM.
