Multiple printer setups - How?

I have an HP Psc 2210 multi-function printer. I often change the setup to
print in different modes, two-per-page, grey scale draft, full colour, etc.

I would like to install this printer several times with different setting
and select the one I want when I print. The only way I can see to do this is
to re-install ALL the hp sofltware several times.

There must be a better way.

Does anyone have an answer for this or is there a nift utility out there?

Thanks
Brian

if you run thought the add printer wizard, and manually select the printer
(it should be in the list after you have installed it once), you should end
up with multiple copies

This did not work. The printer was not in the list, even in the HP section.
I selected the port the current printer was on.

Cheers
Brian

You may want to try this. When you are ready to print in a given
application and have just finished making all your changes in the printer
setup dialogue, hit the "Apply" button instead of the "OK" button.

I honestly don't know what the "Apply" button is supposed to do. But I
noticed that if I do that for a particular document, my printer seems to
remember to respond the same way the next time I go to print it. Without my
needing to set it up all over again.

Give it a try & see if it helps.
