Hello- I apologize in advance. I'm not a techi and this also is my first
experience using this chat room. I read through quite a bit but still can't
seem to find my answer. I have Outlook 2002 and a home-based business with a
PC networked to a laptop. I have a POP account for business #1. E-mail
remains on the host's server and is downloaded into the POP account on both
the PC and Laptop. Business # 2 came along and a copy of my e-mail remains on
the 1and1 server (my host). 1and1 told me I had to do an IMAP account versus
POP so I have two IMAP accounts on both the PC and the laptop, along with the
POP account. (Works fine accept sometimes I get a message saying that the
password is messed up or IMAP can't connect to server) I now want to have my
Juno e-mail downloaded into my Outlook (Juno supports this) so I have
multiple copies. Could I create another POP account? or does it have to be an
IMAP account? I also would need instructions as to how to do this. Thank
you!

You can add the juno account to your profile, if that's what you are asking.
POP3 accounts use just one pst, so two POP3 accounts will have mail mixed
together unless you use rules to move it as it downloads.

Thanks for the information Diane- Can I create another IMAP account ?(that
means I will have 3 IMAP accounts in my Outlook, plus the POP 3 account) and
then not have the problem with having to do rules? - Actually, now that I
think of it, I do not know if Juno allows IMAP - it might only be POP- Please
let me know anyhow, so I will know what direction to go into - Thanks.

I'm pretty sure juno is only pop3, but double check their help/support files
to be sure. You can have a number of imap accounts in outlook - there is a
limit to the total # of accounts, but it's well over 10.

Thank you - I will check about the "POP3 only" with Juno; Otherwise, I might
just have to ceate the "rules" or finally bite the bullet after having this
e-mail address for so many years and get a different service for e-mail - I
currently use it for my personal e-mail and the location for a copy of my
business e-mails to be sent. - Thanks again.
