Multiple pictures to background wallpaper

How can I get multiple smaller wallpapers to bacground instead of one big?
I'd like to place multiple smaller pictures as a background and then "lock"
it as a wallpaper.
Is this possible?
 
1. Use a picture editing tool to do this.

2. OR you can add picture or html files by :
Right click "Desktop" > "Properties" > "Desktop" tab > "Customize Desktop"
button > "Web" tab > Click "New" > Browse for a file

Yes, but not natively, you'll need a third party application.

Or some kind of wallpaper program that can do this (although I don't know any off the top of my head). Alternately, create an index
print of several images with a picture management app, and use that as the wallpaper.

Create a single graphics file that's made up of multiple pictures, and use
that for your wallpaper. You can do this easily with almost any image
editing tool.

Easily? Hardly. It would require creating one picture large enough to hold all of them, then opening, selecting, and copying the
first picture, pasting it into the big one, and repeating for each subsequent picture, making sure to precisely align each one. I
would hardly call that easy in any graphic editor (even ones that have nudging controls).

It's much easier to just let a program that's designed to do it take care of the work. Even the free IRFanView can make an index of
multiple selected pictures. ;)

How difficult anything is depends on who is doing it. I think it's easy. If
it's difficult for you, I can't argue.

Difficult, no. Pain in the butt, yes.
And I do it often, I doubt it would work well for the OP.
