Hi:
Does anybody have any good links or advice on how to print the same
image several times on an inkjet printer( canon Prograf 5000). I have
heard this can yield interesting results and increase colour depth.

Dimensional stability of the media after the first pass dries may
be an issue, plus registration issues from pass to pass.
Suggest you incorporate registration marks (commonly crosses)
in the original, you may have to experiment in Photoshop
to create suitable registration marks.
Some media has different dimensional stability along each axis.
If you have ever tried to produce accurate instrument calibration
scales you will be aware of some of the problems.
