I have been working and testing the new SBS and exchange. Now I have 15 ost
files that occupy over 700MB of disk space. I also would like to remove
Exchange client from Outlook 2003 and use it in single user mode for
testing. I remove the Exchange server mail account and it puts itself back!

Where are you seeing these OST files?
Not sure what you mean by "single user mode for testing".... more detail
would help.

Testing on internal LAN with only myself. The OST files are located at
C:\Documents and Settings\Michael Siersema\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook

"Lanwench [MVP - Exchange]"

You can delete the OST files and disable offline access/cache mode, too...

Did that and now when I open Outlook and error message states that an OST
file can not be found.

Disable offline access - I don't have 2003, but in 2000/XP it's in the
advanced properties of the Exchange server service (tools menu).
