I am trying to upgrade from W98SE to XP PRO but it states
that I cannot continue as I have multiple operating
systems installed. This is from a previous aborted atempt
to upgrade to ME. How do I remove additional operating
systems??
Boot from a Windows ME Emergency Startup Disk and type
SYS C:
at the DOS prompt to remove Windows XP's boot sector. Then manually
delete the Windows XP files from the first installation attempt from
the HDD.
