i have a laptop that moves with me from home to my office
(same workgroup name) to a client's office who has a
domain. how do i join that domain without reconfiguring
my laptop each time i move between the two networks?

Have a similar requirement - need to connect to two
different domains (office & client) but would like to
keep the same profile. Both networks use DHCP which
should make things easier and I have kept computer name,
logon name, etc. exactly the same. Primarily need to
print to a networked printer on the clients network.

Realise that Outlook can also only connect to one
Exchange server...

PLease advise
Thanks
Pieter

There is a solution to your needs
MultiNetwork Manager from www.globesoft.com
I have found it to be a very useful product when
connecting to different networks
and it also has a feature that will let you keep your
desktop etc. (share user profiles) even if you switch
between domains, which it handles without any problem
if you are on 2000/XP you should go for version 7
This is a very useful utility!
