Multiple Network Cards

Here's my situation:
I've got XP, DSL, and one network card that uses my DSL
modem.
I want to hook up my computers together without having to
buy extra equipment. I've already got an extra network
card.
I want to know if I can have multiple network cards
installed without conflicts in XP. I have the available
ports to accomplish this. That way I use one for my DSL,
and the other for my other computers.
If anyone has done this without conflicts in XP please
let me know.

Just install a second network card and connect it to the other
computers through a hub or switch. Each installed network card has
its own connection in the Network Connections folder. Each network
connection is independent of the others.

If you enable Internet Connection Sharing on the DSL connection, all
of the computers will be able to access the Internet simultaneously
and independently.

I set something like this up years ago, but in Windows
98. I think since then it has gotten a lot easier.
Although I don't know exactly what to tell you what to do,
I can point you in the right direction. Windows XP has
the capability of performing a bridge function. This
bridge allows the completion of the incoming network card
to access the outgoing network card and vice versa. I
would suggest looking into how to setup a bridge first. I
believe it would work.
