Multiple monitors

I cannot get multiple monitors to work, when I go to
SETTINGS on the DISPLAY PROPERTIES window it does not
give me the option, I can run a monitor from my laptop
but cannot have 2 different screens showing please help

.I am having the same problem and the only thing xp help

could tell me is to uninstall adobe type manager if
applicable. let me know if you solve this.
