Multiple messages Outlook

Outlook has started to send the same email many times. The email remains in
the out tray and does not pass to the sent messages tray until it has sent
the email many times. It cannot be removed from the out tray until it has
been sent several times. I have sent the rogue emails and attachments to
Panda but they say they are not infected. I have also scanned all my computer
for viruses but found nothing.
It is not doing this to all emails.
Do any of you bright sparks out there know how I can fix this

I am having the same problem - but with attachemnet forwarding only...and in
my case, it goes out 23 times. Go figure.

Version of Outlook? Email environment (POP3, Exchange)? PST size? Do you scan
incoming and outgoing emails with your antivirus? How often do you poll
(send/receive) mail?

I send many emails every day all are scanned as are incoming emails. This
problem only applies when there is an attachment but not to every attachment

sorry should have added Outlook 2003 Pop 3 Telefonica-the Spanish national
phone company Email activity is almost continuous during the day/evening

Finally Panda came back having found a virus Spamtaload.do We have removed it
and hopefully the problem
