I am currently having a problem that involves multiple mailboxes on an exchange server. Each user has their own personal mailbox with inbox, deleted items etc and are joined to a second public mailbox also with its own inbox and deleted files folder. The problem being that when the user deletes an email from the public mailbox it is sent to the deleted items of the default mailbox which is the users personal mailbox. All of the users viewing the public inbox can no longer see the message. Is there some way to change the default paths for each mailbox either at local machine or server level
I am using outlook 2002 with windows 200
any help would be most appreciated

Well that is the whole purpose of deleting it right? Instead of deleting it
they can also move it manually to the Deleted Items folder of the ther
mailbox. Note that it is possible then that people forget to purge the
Deleted Items folder then.
