We have two web application that runs in the IE 6 SP1 browser. All of our
end users run Windows XP Pro SP2. App 1 can only run on Java Run Time 1.4X
and App 2 requires a minimum of version 1.5.0.6. When version 1.5.0.6 is
installed on the on system, App1 does not work properly. App2 require at
least this version to work so I have a huge problem. I research the issue
and there seem to be a way to create separate instances of IE 6 and associate
the web app to a specific Java Run Time version. However, it does not give
you steps on what needs to be done to configure it. If anyone how who to
create separate shortcut of these web application in IE 6 and associate with
its reuired version of Java, I would be most graceful.
