Hello,

I have used the Package for CD (PPT 2003) to put the ppt files onto a
CD.

I have a ppt file acting as a menu with links to other "menu" slides
which each have links to say 20 ppt files.

When I select these files in turn I notice quite a bit of hard disk
activity and things slow down.

Using CTRL/ALT/DEL I see lots of instances of pptview.exe.

Is this normal? Does each ppt file require its own version of
pptview.exe??!

Cheers

Geoff

Geoff Cox,

Are you linking from pres (a) to pres (b) then to pres (c) etc ?

If so you will have lots of files open at the same time.

The trick is to have
Pres (A) call up pres (b), Pres (b) quits/ends passing control back to Pres
(A), which then calls up Pres (c)... repeating the process.

That way only 2 presentations (pres) are open at any one time.

TAJ,

That sounds fine but how do you do that?!
