Multiple IE Open Pages

I am encountering a problem that HP support spent two
hours trying to help me resolve. We did not get the
problem resolved. When I am using IE and I want to open
a second IE page I get a screen that says "Windows has
encountered a problem..................... do you want to
send an error report. When the error report is sent and
that screen is closed the IE page disappears. We
disabled the error message option so now when I go to
open a second IE page the home page appears for one or
two seconds and then disappears. We tried reinstalling
IE and downloaded Service Pacts and the problem continues.
We even created a new user and reinstalled DSL software
with this user and problem continues. Conclusion of HP
Tech was the only thing left was to do a complete system
restore. Computer is only three weeks old and I am
hopeing not to have to do this. Any suggestions??????????
