The Antispyware icon in the System Tray is breeding. I
begin the day with one and may end up with half a dozen or
more. They do disappear if I run the cursor over them. I
have uninstalled and reinstalled but nothing changed. I do
not have us this problem with any other icon.

I have read this in prior post, and still don't know what it could be.
Possibly just a minor bug or something associated with your video card
drivers.

Just curious, do you use TightVNC or RealVNC or any other VNC application to
remote control your computer? I myself and others have reported this exact
issue when using these applications.

Can you say more about your machine? Are you running VNC as a host, with an
active session in progress?

Well, so far I have only seen this happen with VNC, which is why I think he
has VNC of some sort installed on his PC, which is fine. Though Michael
hasn't replied yet to tell us if he has VNC installed or not. :)

if you check the options menu, you will see the "do not
show icon", so check this& they will not appear on system
tray.

Thanks, but most people want to see (and use) the system tray icon. And
since it is beta testing, it is good to see any issues instead of "hiding"
things. But it's true, you can "hide" icons, though it doesn't stop the
background processes from doing what they do.

The machine I have is an Acer TravelMate C300 TabletPC.
I do not have any type of VNC installed.
Video drivers are all up to date.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Thanks. One other report of this issue without VNC involved was also from a
Tablet user--a Lifebook--so--different brand, but also a Tablet. I'm asking
in a Tablet-related group whether others have seen this issue.

You can say that again, and its good to know that there are a bunch of
people here to help on the journey to an answer.
